Mr. Hess spoke as the guest speaker at “Air Force Financial Planning Day at the Pentagon in 2007”. He was also presented with an award by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Programs of the United States Air Force.
Eric D. Hess, CFP, ChFC has appeared on national network news broadcasts, has spoken at numerous events on both professional and charitable levels, and provided expert cost-benefit-analysis for various news and media publications.
Mr. Hess served as a pro-bono volunteer in the Wounded Warriors Program at Walter Reed Medical Center from 2005-2007.
Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine’s smart money section singled out Eric as one of the Who’s Who of Virginia Certified Financial Planners.
